I help you prepare for and recover from your life’s unique workload through bodywork and fitness.
On the table: Fascia is my favorite system in our body. It gives us our range of motion, it communicates between systems, it is involved in every aspect of our bodies and is endlessly fascinating.
I find myofascial release and neuromuscular therapies to be the most efficient pathway to pain relief for many issues we face. Fascial work is also a gift during relaxation sessions — releasing emotional and mental tension in the body, engaging deep and thorough relief from your day-to-day stressors. Craniosacral Therapy is also a form of myofascial release. See all of my massage and bodywork options here.
Myofascial release - a large umbrella of both deep and gentle techniques with the goal of releasing tightness and pain throughout the body
Neuromuscular therapy - a series of techniques that reduce muscular tension by signaling directly to the brain that a muscle is hypertonic and to release it
Off the table: I love educating about how and why our bodies are doing what they're doing. I find this helps people connect with their body in new ways — noticing posture or habits for the first time, connecting mind and body to tell it to do things in new ways.
Exercises and self-care tools are often suggested to extend your bodywork benefits. I also offer 15 minute take home circuits as well as full personal workouts, check these out on my fitness page to learn more.
All bodies are welcome.

Morning mobility, lunch break, and evening stretch sesh. These are my daily essentials. Enjoy these no-equipment-necessary routines again and again!
Use this blog during your cardiorespiratory training. Paying attention to breathing changes instead of heart rate is a simple way to know the zone you’re working in across any cardio exercise.
FREEZE! Without making any changes yet, take stock of how you’re sitting or standing right now. Is your weight leaning on one side? Are you twisting your body? Or is one of your hands on your hip or holding onto something?
Now, switch everything to the exact opposite position. (For example, if you were leaning on the left side, switch to leaning on the right.)
Relaxation massage is most often defined as a full-body basic Swedish massage. The goal is stress relief…
…deep tissue or myofascial release session is more of the seek-and-destroy nature. A full-body flow is sometimes possible, but I am meticulous when dealing with issues so we usually focus on our goal areas.
